We are thrilled to announce that our brand-new ThermoFisher Scientific Tundra Cryo-EM has arrived and is now being installed! Over the past few days, ThermoFisher’s engineers have been hard at work assembling the system in our new microscopy facility.

The engineers arrived and began inventorying the components and preparing for assembly.
The Field Emission Gun – the high-performance electron source of the microscope – being carefully mounted onto the column by ThermoFisher engineers.

the installation should continue for a couple of weeks to finish the mechanical assembly.
